The first meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) of the JICA project “Support Project for the Improvement of Rice Cultivation in Burundi (Phase I)”, launched last year on 24 November 2023, was featured on JICA Burundi Field Office’s Facebook page. This project aims to strengthen seed production and post-harvest handling techniques.

In conjunction with this project, a cooperation preparatory study (grant aid) for the introduction of rice milling machines used in post-harvest handling is also being implemented.
